American Council of the Blind sued the Treasury in 2003, he appealed, on Oct 3 08 Federal Judge James Robertson ruled:

The Secretary of Treasury, as of Jan 09 Tim Geithner, when redesigning a denomination WILL make this currency be identifiable by TOUCH.

The Sec of Treasury must give a status to the Court March 2009 & every six months after. The American Council of the Blind will contact the Court to get the status.

One out of every 30 American's can NOT tell their currency apart - we are one of the few countries in the world that does NOT have currency identifiable by touch.
